But that\u2019s a lot of players with a lot of issues. This might be the molehill compared to the mountain. This is just, in my opinion, a small amount. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to help a lot of players the way they need to be helped, long term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just like, \u2018Man, it is not enough. I just feel that, because of the quality of life that I\u2019m starting to miss, they owe me more. Meaning the game owes me more for putting me in the condition I\u2019m in. I\u2019ve got medical bills to pay, and they\u2019re going to get worse as time passes on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut you know, some people are probably happy with this. It\u2019s good to see people come to some consensus, but it\u2019s not the end for people like myself. If I get some money out of this, $100,000 or $200,000, what is that going to do for my medical bills? What is that going to do for my quality of life?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Told that the settlement does in fact provide for medical benefits, Dorsett said, \u201cThat\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they got that (health insurance) for the guys, that\u2019s fantastic, because that is greatly needed,\u201d Dorsett said. \u201cAll I know is that as the days and years go by, it gets worse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s some medical issues that guys are going to have for the rest of their lives. I just want to know if the owners are going to put something in the fund that\u2019s going to fund that. Dorsett was announced the starter in the tenth game of the Cowboys&#8217; season, and he would stay the starter for many years.
