In a recent interview with FanHouse on behalf of Topps’ Gridiron Giveaway, legendary Hall of Fame quarterback, John Elway, spoke about the Denver Broncos and new quarterback, Tim Tebow. John Elway is a popular speaker at PFP Sports and Celebrity Talent Agency in Denver.<\/p>\n

One of the many questions asked John Elway by FanHouse was:<\/p>\n

FH:<\/strong> There’s been a lot made about Tebow’s ability to make that adjustment to the NFL, and there’s the ongoing argument about whether his intangibles can make up for his mechanical flaws. As a former quarterback, can a guy with those intangibles overcome physical inconsistencies?<\/p>\n

JE:<\/strong> There’s no style points in the NFL, it’s all about winning football games. He’s got the ability with his intangibles to make the plays at the right time. Again, I go back to his work ethic. It’s just a matter of him continuing to grow. His accuracy’s got to get better and his acclimation to the NFL game is going to take some time. I believe he’s got a good chance to be very successful, because he has those attributes.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s not going to be the Dan Marino type that\u2019s going to sit in the pocket and beat you with his arm. He can beat you with his arm \u2014 he\u2019s also got those other attributes to be able to run the football, make the big plays, but also his leadership abilities to rub off on the other guys in that huddle and make them a better football team.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
