CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Former Dallas Cowboys tight end, Jay Novacek<\/a>, will be the guest speaker on Saturday April 25, 2015 at Big Frank’s STX Hunting & Fishing Expo. The event takes place on the Lone Star Beers Main Stage at the American Bank Center Convention Center in Corpus Christi. Jay is schedule to appear from 12:30 pm \u20132 pm. Jay Novacek is a former tight end who played for the St. Louis \/ Arizona Cardinals (1985\u20131989) and the Dallas Cowboys (1990\u20131995). Novacek was a five-time Pro Bowler, who was selected to play each year from 1991 through 1995. Novacek’s last game was Super Bowl XXX in January, 1996. He officially retired from the NFL on July 15, 1997 after a lingering back injury cut short his career. In his 11 seasons, Novacek recorded 422 receptions for 4,630 yards and 30 touchdowns. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
