COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio State two-time Heisman Trophy winner and president and CEO of the Ohio State University Alumni Association, Archie Griffin<\/a>, will be the commencement speaker Sunday, May 10, at Ohio Stadium. Griffin, a graduate of Ohio State in 1976, has spent his professional career serving the university and its alumni. The university said Griffin was endorsed as this year’s speaker by a committee of students, faculty and staff which received hundreds of suggestions.
\n“I’m thrilled that Archie has agreed to be our commencement speaker,” Ohio State President Michael Drake said in a release. “Our graduates will get a chance to hear from the ultimate Buckeye and a man whose hard work, generous spirit and philosophy of ‘paying forward’ has brought so much credit to this university.”
