  • Herm Edwards Named Keynote Speaker at Big Green Dinner

    CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — ESPN analyst and former NFL head coach, Herm Edwards, has been named the keynote speaker at the 36th annual Big Green Dinner. The event, presented by the Francis Charitable Foundation, will be held on Friday, April 25.at 7 p.m. in the Henderson Center located in Clarksburg, W.Va. Individual tickets for the event are $80 and VIP reception/table sponsorships are $2,000.

  • Ozzie Smith to be Keynote Speaker at Semoball Awards Banquet

    CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. — St. Louis Cardinals legend, Ozzie Smith will be the keynote speaker at the Semoball Awards banquet to be held on June 21 at the Show Me Center. The annoucement was made on February 10 by Semoball.com, a regional sports website contributed to by five daily newspapers in Southeast Missouri. The Show Me Center is located on the Southeast Missouri State University campus, in Cape Girardeau.

  • Buffalo Bills Legend Andre Reed to Sign Autographs at Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles in Cheektowaga, N.Y

    CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills legend, Andre Reed, will hold his first post-Hall of Fame vote autograph signing event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles, at 794 French Road in Cheektowaga, N.Y.. Individuals can drop off their memorabilia in advance if they are unable to make the event.

    ARCATA, CA. — Former Oakland Raiders, Tim Brown, has been named the keynote speaker at the 29th Annual Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 29, at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. Don and Carolyn Johnson will be the honored guests this year. Guest speakers in the past have included Rick Barry, Jim Harbaugh, Misty May Traenor, Joe Frazier and Steve Young.

  • Rudy Ruettiger To Be Guest Speaker at Nursing Facilty

    PLANTSVILLE CT. — Notre Dame football legend, Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger, will be the featured speaker at The Summit At Plantsville, a skill nursing facility that offers both short-term rehabilitation and long term care. The event entitled “Rudy” will take place on April 4 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.

  • Andrew McCutchen Hosts Annual Baseball Camp in Fort Meade

    FORT MEADE, FL. — Pittsburgh Pirates National League MVP and local hero, Andrew McCutchen, returned to his roots in Polk County to host his annual baseball camp for the third straight year. On Saturday, February 1, 2014, Fort Meade opened its heart and baseball fields to a large group of young ball players, who all wanted to learn from Fort Meade’s favorite son, Andrew McCutchen.

    BINGHAMTON, N.Y. —  Olympic Gold medalist and former University of Arizona and Team USA softball pitcher, Jennie Finch, spoke Monday afternoon, February 3, at Binghamton University’s Celebrating Women’s Athletics Luncheon, an annual affair held at the Events Center to recognize the achievements of the school’s female student-athletes.   • James Worthy Named Keynote Speaker at Basketball Banquet

    LEHIGH VALLEY, PA. — Former LA Lakers star and three-time NBA champion, James Worthy, has been named the keynote speaker at the 39th Annual Via All-Star Basketball Classic Banquet to be held at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Lehigh, Pennsylvania. The event takes place on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. The banquet will also honor basketball talent from 35 high schools in the greater Lehigh Valley.

  • Magic Johnson Named Keynote Speaker at Desert Christian Fundraiser

    INDIAN WELLS, CA. — Former NBA legend, Magic Johnson, has been named the keynote speaker at Desert Christian Academy’s 24th annual auction gala fundraiser to be held on March 29th at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, California. The benefit is the school’s primary fundraiser for the school of 500 students. Tickets to the event are $150 per person. The school’s annual auction gala is their primary fundraiser, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the school’s 500 students.
