  • Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013 Announces Seven Inductees (VIDEO)

    NEW ORLEANS, La. — On Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, six former NFL players along with a former NFL coach were elected to the Pro Hall of Fame at the site of Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans, and will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame this coming August.

  • Will Ray Lewis PED Accusation Affect Super Bowl Outcome? (VIDEO)

    On Tuesday Sports Illustrated reported that Ray Lewis, who missed 10 games with a torn triceps, sought help from Sports with Alternatives to Steroids (SWATS), a company that makes the unorthodox deer-antler spray, which is supposed to be sprayed under the tongue to speed the recovery of the injury. Preparing for his final career game, Lewis laughed it off, saying the accusation is foolish.

  • Tiger Woods Wins PGA Tour for an Eighth Record Time at Torrey Pines (VIDEO)

    Tiger Woods first win of the year at Farmer’s Insurance Open has made him the only PGA Tour winner to ever win eight times at any course. On Sunday Woods made a remarkable recovery at the 11th hole getting out of the bunker to par the hole. However, Woods bogeyed the 14th and then hit a wayward tee shot on the 15th making things difficult for himself.

  • Saints Fans React To Sean Payton Reinstatement (VIDEO)

    New Orleans Saints fans are hopeful about moving forward after head coach Sean Payton was reinstated by the NFL on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from his season-long suspension as a result of the league’s investigation into the team’s bounty program. The NFL had suspended Payton on March 22, 2012 for the Saints “Bountygate” scandal and voided his contract. (more…)

  • Baseball Hall of Famer Earl Weaver Dies at 82

    Former Baltimore Orioles manager Earl Weaver died at age 82 on a Caribbean cruise associated with the Orioles, according to his marketing agent. Dick Gordon said Weaver’s wife told him that Weaver went back to his cabin after dinner and began choking between 10:30 and 11 Friday night. Gordon said a cause of death has not been determined. Earl Weaver, a popular motivational speaker at PFP Sports and Celebrity Talent Agency, will be greatly missed. (more…)

  • Lance Armstrong Admits to Oprah He Was on More Than His Bike (VIDEO)

    It looks like the lying is finally over after a decade of denying doping. After lawsuits and vicious attacks against his detractors, Lance Armstrong finally admits to Oprah in an interview to air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on Jan. 17, that he doped his way to 7 Tour de France victories in what some are calling an emotional interview where Armstrong admits that he took performance enhancing drugs.
