Mike D'Antoni Booking Agent Details
Mike D’Antoni has served as head coach of the NBA’s Houston Rockets since 2016. Prior to Houston, he served as head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers (2012-2014), New York Knicks (2008-2012), Phoenix Suns (2003-2008) and Denver Nuggets (1998-1999). D’Antoni from 2004-2007 led Phoenix to three consecutive Pacific Division titles. In 2004-2005, the Suns went 62-20 and advanced to the Western Conference Finals. D’Antoni’s leadership that season earned him NBA Coach of the Year honors. He won a second NBA Coach of the Year award for the 2017-2018 season as he guided Houston to a 65-17 record, Southwest Division title and an appearance in the Western Conference Finals. D’Antoni has twice served as a head coach in the All-Star Game, in 2017 and 2018.
As a player, D’Antoni played three years in the NBA from 1973-1975 for the Kansas City-Omaha Kings and one season for the ABA’s St. Louis Spirit before returning to the NBA for two games in 1976 with the San Antonio Spurs. Afterwards, he embarked on a successful career in Italy with Olimpia Milano from 1977-1990, with whom he won back-to-back Italian Cups in 1986 and 1987 and five Italian League titles in 1982, 1985-1987, 1989. Immediately after his playing career, D’Antoni stayed-on with Olimpia, serving as a coach from 1990-1994. His jersey #8 jersey has been retired by the team. D’Antoni was born on May 8, 1951 in Mullens, West Virginia. He played college basketball at Marshall from 1970-1973. The Thundering Herd retired his jersey #10 and he is a member of the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
