Mike Bibby is a former NBA point guard who played from 1998-2012 with the Vancouver Grizzlies (1998-2001), Sacramento Kings (2001-2008), Atlanta Hawks (2008-2011), Washington Wizards (2011), Miami Heat (2011) and New York Knicks (2011-2012).

Selected by Vancouver with the 2nd pick overall in the 1998 NBA Draft, Bibby played 50 games for the team as a rookie in 1998-1999 and was named to All-Rookie first team. In 2000-2001, he set a career-best mark for assists per game with 8.4 while also averaging a career-high 38.9 minutes per game. Upon joining the Kings for the 2001-2002 season, Bibby would go on to play in at least 80 games for Sacramento in five of the seven seasons he spent with the team. His career-high of 21.1 points per game was set with the Kings during the 2005-2006 season. In total over the course of his career, Bibby averaged 14.7 points and 5.5 assists per game.

Bibby played college basketball at the University of Arizona from 1996-1998, earning Pac-10 Freshman of the Year accolades in 1997 and Pac-10 Player of the Year honors in 1998. The Wildcats in 1997 captured a national championship with a win over Kentucky in the finals. Bibby’s jersey #10 has since been retired by the school. Bibby was born ion May 13, 1978 and attended Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix.
