Greg Anthony is a retired former NBA point guard who played in the league from 1991-2002. Collegiately, he played at UNLV and, in 1990, was the starting point guard on the Runnin’ Rebels team that’s considered one of the greatest teams in NCAA history and won the NCAA Championship, including a 30 point win over Duke in the finals. Prior to UNLV, Anthony began his college career at the University of Portland, earning West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year honors in 1988.

Anthony was a first round selection by the New York Knicks in 1991 and played in the Big Apple for Pat Riley through 1995, earning a reputation as a defensive specialist. For the next two seasons, he played for the expansion team Vancouver Grizzlies and enjoyed his best season in 1995-1996 when he averaged 14 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. After his days in Vancouver, he joined the Seattle Supersonics for a year and then played in Portland from 1998-2001. After lone seasons with the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony retired in 2002.

After his playing days ended, Anthony went into broadcasting and has worked as an NBA broadcaster for ESPN, ABC and CBS Sports. He’s also hosted a show on SiriusXM NBA Radio and has contributed to college basketball coverage for Yahoo! Sports.
