Ozzie Smith to be Keynote Speaker at Semoball Awards Banquet

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. — St. Louis Cardinals legend, Ozzie Smith will be the keynote speaker at the Semoball Awards banquet to be held on June 21 at the Show Me Center. The annoucement was made on February 10 by Semoball.com, a regional sports website contributed to by five daily newspapers in Southeast Missouri. The Show Me Center is located on the Southeast Missouri State University campus, in Cape Girardeau.

A limited number of VIP tickets went on sale February 10 on Semoball.com. VIP tickets include a pre-event reception and photo opportunity with Smith and admission to the banquet. Ozzie Smith is a former MLB shortstop who played for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002.
